Flakes of Laughter

 One day, Flaky was walking from school, but she was crying because she was being bullied that week. She went to Flippy's house & knocked on the door. Flippy opened the door to see the red porcupine, covered in bruises & cuts, along with a black eye. She darted straight in, nudged off her book bag, fell face-down on the couch in the living room, & burst into tears. She wailed & bawled hard as Flippy sat by her & sympathetically pet her head & upper-back.

 "Flaky..." Flippy sighed sorrowfully, "Flaky, Flaky, Flaky... What ever happened to you?"

 The porcupine sniffled & sobbed. "A bunch of bullies kept picking on me all because of how scared I am of them!" She continued bawling. Flippy felt horrible for his friend & wanted to help her. He thought for a moment, then he smiled & looked at Flaky.

 "Hey," Flippy said softly, trying to calm Flaky, "You want me to make you smile again?"

 Flaky sniffed, picked her head up, & looked at Flippy with her violet, tear-filled eyes. She nestled up against him & hugged him, having him hug her back. Flippy waited for a long period of time with the porcupine snug in his arms. When Flaky seemed to have calmed down, Flippy looked down at her & noticed she fell asleep. Probably because she was so tired from crying so hard.

 Flippy held sleeping Flaky for a few more minutes, then, finally, he ever-so lightly glided his fingertips up & down Flaky's baby-soft belly. Flaky giggled in her slumber. Flippy smiled & stroked his fingers over to her right belly side, making her giggling increase. Flippy chuckled quietly & used his other hand to tickle Flaky's other side, making her finally wake up & start to laugh.

 "Flippy!" Flaky giggled, "What- heeheeheehee- are you doing!?"

 "I'm making you smile again, Flaky," Flippy chuckled, "So I'm doing it in the best way possible." As he said this, he caressed his fingers around Flaky's belly again.

 "Ah! Heeheeheeheeheehee!" Flaky giggled out loud. She dodged her way out of Flippy's grip & tried running off, but Flippy grabbed her by the waist & tickled her torso, only more playfully. Flaky laughed out loud while standing straight on her curling toes & pinning her arms down against her sides.

 "Flippy! Hee hee hee ha ha ha ha ha!" Flaky laughed, "Stop that! It tickles!! Ha ha ha ha!"

 Flippy giggled. "Precisely, Flaky!" He swept Flaky off her feet & carried her into the bedroom where he playfully dropped Flaky onto the bed, making her giggle playfully. Flippy then pounced on her & began tickling her again. Flaky laughed & laughed as she felt Flippy's fingertips dance all around her belly, sides, waist, & neck.

 "Flippy! Hahahahahehehehehe!" Flaky laughed, "Stahahahahap!"

 "But I love to make you smile!" Flippy said playfully, "Now, how about your feet?"

 Flippy locked his arm around Flaky's ankles & began to scribble his fingers all around her soles, heels, arches, & toes. Flaky burst into laughter & tried to kick her feet out, but Flippy was way too strong. She couldn't help but hug her sides & shout in laughter as she rolled & squirmed, trying to break free. After a while, Flippy stopped for Flaky to catch her breath.

 "You... Really know... How to... Make... Someone... Laugh..." Flaky panted with a few giggles.

 Flippy chuckled. "Well, I can also make you feel relaxed."

 "Oh, yeah? How?"

 "It's simple." With that, Flippy began rubbing & kneading Flaky's shoulders, making her moan & feel tranquil. Flippy smiled as he began rubbing up & down Flaky's arms next. After a few minutes of that, he moved his hands down to her orange belly. Flaky began giggling now.

 "Flippy! Not again- heeheeheehee!" She giggled.

 "Sorry, I just love your laugh," Flippy said, "But, of course, I love you."

 "Heehee! I love you, too," Flaky giggled, "Now... How ticklish are you?"

 Flippy stopped & began backing away. "Oh, no. Oh no, oh no, no, nononono-- Ah!!" Flippy burst into laughter as Flaky began tickling away at his belly. Flaky then unbuttoned the sow's jacket & began tickling underneath it. Flippy laughed & laughed.

 "Coochie-Coochie-Coochie-coo!" Flaky teased as she danced her fingers up to Flippy's underarms. Though Flippy couldn't stand the tickling, he decided to let Flaky have her revenge. After a few minutes, Flaky got close to Flippy's belly & blew a raspberry. Flippy broke into hysterical silent laughter. Flaky ceased after the third raspberry.

 "Heeheeheehee! Flaky, you & I are just the same," Flippy giggled uncontrollably, "We can make anybody smile with just a touch of a finger."

 "Heh, yeah," Flaky chuckled, "Thanks for cheering me up, Flippy."

 "Hey, no problem, Flaky," Flippy shrugged, "I just love to see you smile." He put his arm around the porcupine & kissed the side of her head. Flaky smiled & hugged Flippy, having him hug back. After that, Flaky was happy for the rest of the week. even if the bullies at school picked on her, she just ignored them & continued being happy, remembering the laughs she & her closest friend had shared.
